Christmas in Rhode Island

The Bonanza bus dropped Delores and I off at Newport Gateway, and we went inside to purchase passes to ride the state buses. We need the 63 Purple Line, I said as we came back out. There was a bus sitting next to the flag for Purple Line and I figured that we would have a few minutes. My Aunt was waiting for us at the bus stop when the 63 eventually dropped us off.

It’s on the second floor, My Aunt explained, and I groaned. I didn’t much like stairs but was grateful to not be wheelchair bound like my big sister. I climbed the stairs without complaint and saw the small space my aunt made for Delores and me in the living room. We were going to have to figure out how to share the sofa, or one of us would need the hardwood floor.
