Best thing to do is use your email client’s Report Junk / Report Phishing function, delete, and never respond to those emails! I will never contact you for a job offer because I am not a company!

I’ve gotten the scam recruiter emails all the time. Typically, it is from a website that appears to be some well known company. However, if you look closely, something isn’t quite right about the URL. You look closer. The URL is (name of major company)jobs.com or something to that effect. Those of you who know how to do a whois lookup decide to go down the rabbit hole and see that the website is registered recently (past few days, usually).

I am attempting to stay one (small) step ahead of the scammers, and created this careers landing page, in the hopes that it helped at least one person. No, there’s nothing I can do about the scams beyond saying that I am not a company and I am not hiring. The people scamming you are typically not located in your country and are almost always immune from your country’s law enforcement.
