  1. Mr. Hunter sees the four girls escorting Spencer in the general direction of the middle school table. Medium top-half shot.
  2. “Enjoying your lunch, Mr. Hunter?” asks Mara. Mr. Hunter says: “I am, Mara. Thank you for asking.” Lan, changing the subject, says: “Kimmie didn’t have a good lunch.” Mr. Hunter looks at Kimmie. “Why is that?” Kimmie presents the thermos, and says bluntly: “Spencer tried to offer me some homemade chicken noodle soup.” Mr. Hunter asks: “So where is Spencer?” Steffie pushes him to the front of her group and says: “Right here.”
  3. As the girls leave, Spencer gets pulled aside by Mr. Hunter. “Your conduct today was completely unacceptable. When you get back to Five Points, you’ll be issued a detention notice.” Spencer grumbles and cusses under his breath about the detention. Mr. Hunter says: “Spencer, I will notify the office about your behavior today.”
  4. As the group gets on the bus back to Five Points, Mr. Hunter calls ahead to alert them to Spencer’s behavior and how he reacted to being served a detention notice.
