Issue in Dorm

Today is a long first day in class and Kevin decides to get a shower going. Kara wheels her brother to the shower room where she strips her clothes off, then undresses me. “You want your usual,” She asks?

“Please,” He replies as she turns the water on and gets the transfer seat going.

Kara helps him from my wheelchair to the in-shower seat and pulls the shower head off, to better aim at him. The water feels great, considering that today is a long day and They are both sweaty like there’s no tomorrow. Kara starts washing him as she always does when suddenly they hear a knock at the door.

Thinking it’s one of the girls, Kara says, “I’m washing Kevin.” She continues to rub a wash cloth gently down there (yes, there) and thinks nothing of it as she goes on her regular routine of washing him.

Suddenly, the door barges open (we don’t lock the door because the only ones in the suite are my family) and this boy comes in and looks at us wide-eyed. “Oh my,” He shrieks as he runs out of the suite.

“Well that was totally awkward and random,” Kara comments with disgust.

“That was just wrong,” Kevin replies as he pulls his sister into a hug.

Kara comments, “How much you want to bet that guy tells dorm staff we had sex?”

“I wouldn’t be surprised,” Kevin replies as Kara shampoos his hair, feeling spooked by the encounter.

“Did you recognize him by chance? I think he is the next suite over, on the guy side,” Kara says, “I think it he went one suite too far by mistake.”

“Still, that felt weird,” Kevin replies.

The door opens again and in pops their sister Wendy who asks, “What was that shouting I heard?” (the family does not consider that a privacy breach: they do this all the time)

Kara, who is drying Kevin, explains, “Some boy came in here. It felt weird and wrong. I have no clue who he is, but he took off running.” Wendy helps Kara transfer Kevin back to his wheelchair and they head into Kevin and Kara’s room (Wendy offers to help Kevin get dressed while Kara gets dressed herself – might as well)

Wendy sits on Kevin’s bed and he pulls her into a hug, as he starts trembling thinking about that weird encounter in the shower. Kara explains how they get barged in on as Wendy comforts their brother. Wendy says, “I’m guessing it’s a freak accident, but I believe you with him going to claim you two had sex.” Kevin adjust himself so that he’s lying his head on Wendy’s breast, and she gladly allows her brother to snuggle closer. “You are spooked,” Wendy notes, seeing the look on her brother’s face.

All six of them head out, deciding they don’t want to be cooped up in the suite all evening. Wendy pushes Kevin in his wheelchair and Amanda pushes Ariel along in her wheelchair. The get close to the lobby and hear the shouting, “But it was a boy and a girl naked in the shower! You have to believe me! They were having sex too!”

A bunch of other students looked on in disgust, because they were trying to work on a major project together, and one looks like he is ready to snap at any second. Sure enough, one of them pounds a fist on the table and yells, “We are TRYING to work here! Take your drama-rant somewhere else!”

It just so happens that the Head of Residential Services overhears the commotion and steps into the dormitory lobby and asks what is going on. The student who exploded a second ago, tried explaining about the project his group was working on. The kid shouting and hollering gets ushered into the office and the door closes. They decide it is better if they avoid the lobby since they want to be nowhere near this kid. They aren’t sure if he is out to cause trouble or not, but they knew they wanted to stay away from the drama this center is infamous for. “Besides, we have each other,” Mariana says as they are exiting the lobby. They can still hear the muffled rants of that kid, but can’t exactly make out what is being said.
